Born and raised in the Mahoning Valley, Ryan Halicki joined the MyValleyWeather.com team in 2010. He is a graduate of Youngstown State University, with a double major in Geography and Telecommunications. He is the weekend weather anchor for 33 News and also a videojournalist.
Ryan was born July 11th, 1987 in Youngstown and is a 2005 graduate of Hubbard High School. Upon graduating, he began his quest to attain his dream job as a weather forecaster at Youngstown State University and will graduate in fall 2010. After graduating, he plans to further his education through Mississippi State University in Meteorology.
Since the age of 7, he has known that this is the career path he wanted to follow and is very happy to launch his career in Youngstown. Weather is his passion but he also enjoys running, listening to all types of music, photography, following the latest news stories, and surrounding himself with the good company of his friends and family. He also has an interest in learning about culture and traveling (especially to the islands of The Bahamas!)
