The weather plays a big part in the success of the Canfield Fair. Last year was the best for dry weather and highs around 80.
It rained the first 3 days in 2008. Then the sun broke through with highs in the low 80s.
Five sunny days with temperatures in the 70s and 80s made 2007 bearable. There was some light rain on the Fair's second day.
Three days of rain in 2006 wasn't the worst problem. It was also cool with highs in the 60s and 70s.
The heat was on in 2005. Rain started the Fair and the the temperature rose to the 90s with sunshine. The last day was mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s.
The rain shouldn't stop you from enjoying the Fair. There are plenty of buildings you can run to when the sky opens up.
