Northern Mercer County was hit Wednesday night with strong thunderstorms that brought down wires and trees, including on homes.

According to Mercer County 911 Dispatch reports, after a line of storms blew through earlier in the evening, the county was hit hard with another line just after 8 p.m.

Trees fell on two homes on Conneaut Lake Road between Greenville and Conneaut Lake. A tree also fell on a home on Leech Road in Greenville. No one was injured.

There were several reports of wires down in areas like Greenville, West Salem, Hempfield, Jamestown and Sugar Grove Township.

Crews were able to clear the debris quickly so no roads were closed for long periods of time, said reports.
