2011 is closing in on becoming the wettest year ever recorded at the National Weather Service in Trumbull County. Four months were key to this damp record.
February was the third wettest at 5.03", March the ninth wettest at 5.14", April and May of 2011 were at the top of the list at 6.87" and 8.32" respectively.
November 2011, while not being the wettest or the driest, has had its share of rain with 3.60". The wettest November is 1985 with 9.11 inches. Both 1955 and 1921 share the tenth position with 4.34".
