Thursday was the first dry day at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport since Feb. 21.
In the month of February, there were only three days without precipitation for the Youngstown area, Myvalleyweather.com Meteorologist Don Guthrie said. Guthrie said there's a chance Valley residents may see four dry days in a row, with a possibility of precipitation Sunday.
Guthrie said the normal amount of precipitation for February is 2.91 inches, according to data from the National Weather Service. Precipitation is made up rain and melted snow.
February 2010 registered .88 inches above normal for the precipitation level.
The Valley had a record-breaking February with 36.3 inches of snow.
