Dry weather and highs around 90 degrees at the Canfield Fair may have helped attendance, but food vendors weren't happy with the heat. Food concession operators will generally agree the perfect weather for selling food is sunny with temperatures between 75 and 80 degrees.

Even with a chance of afternoon rain, food sales should be up with temperatures around 80. Hopefully, the cooler Labor Day weekend will mean a rise in sales of hot food.
