While the snow storm created numerous problems for motorists and road crews, it left thousands without power.
Columbiana County was hit the hardest. In East Liverpool, they've set up a shelter for those without power. The Westgate Elementary School is open for anyone needing assistance.
About 2,000 First Energy customers and more than 4,000 American Electric Power customers in the county were without electricity at the height of the storm.
Most of the damage was caused by the snow pushing tree limbs on power lines.
Paul Prater with American Electric Power said they expect to have 95 percent of their customers' electric restored by midnight Monday.
He explained the challenges crews face, "Having access, to get everything accessed, to see what exactly is broken, what the locations are and then getting our heavy trucks into the area to get it fixed. I mean, we need the roads cleared. We've got trees across roads, so it doesn't happen immediately."
The power issue was less severe in Mercer and Lawrence Counties. About two dozen Penn Power customers reported outages.
